The common enemy: Corporate capture of democracy and the commons.

“In court, you can convict on circumstantial evidence if it’s overwhelming. Let’s look at the evidence:

  • Corporations fight transparency (if safe, why hide data?)
  • They demand immunity from liability (if safe, why need protection?)
  • They use patents to block independent research (if safe, why prevent verification?)
  • They spend billions lobbying against labeling (if safe, why oppose informed choice?)
  • Countries that reject these products are punished through trade agreements (if safe, why force acceptance?)
  • Whistleblowers are destroyed (if telling lies, why such extreme retaliation?)

If you were on a jury, would you believe the defendant who demands immunity, hides evidence, silences witnesses, and attacks anyone who questions them?”
